Hey y'all beautiful people!

PyCon was last week, which saw Opt Out pretty much having it's own track last thing Friday! Huge congrats to AP, whose talk title "Does hate sound he same in all languages" was incredible! Mine had some technical issues which threw me a bit, but all in all people enjoyed it.

Also I'd like to welcome the new people to Opt Out's slack channel! If you could introduce yourselves in the #introduction_yourself channel that would be wonderful

So a quick summary of where we're at now, and what's happening this week

- Preparations for Mozfest:

   - Designing the workshop on measuring inclusivity in tech usage (I'll post it in here for feedback Wednesday)

   - Prep the data science repo **find_out** for new contributors

   - Prep the browser extension **opt_out** repo for new contributors and to begin with the new feature -> the local model and in browser pipeline

- Website makeover

- Deployment of misogyny model into the browser extension

- @Verica how is it going with the GDPR content?

- @Nicole Shephard, thanks so much for the annotations! We'll get to playing with those soon and I reckon we should have another "Hacking Misogyny" night soon

- We should hear back from the YC incubator on Wednesday, so cross your fingers, eyes, toes whatever!

And finally, and sorry to the tech exclusive nature of this joke but...

Q: “Whats the object-oriented way to become wealthy?”

A: Inheritance

Peace and love <3
