At Orus, we are a team of hydrologists, engineers, and open-source advocates dedicated to democratizing access to high-quality water monitoring tools. Our mission is to empower communities, researchers, and water authorities with affordable, open-source technologies for precise river flow measurement and hydrometric data collection.
Our flagship software, RIVeR, transforms standard video footage into accurate flow measurements using Large-Scale Particle Image Velocimetry (LSPIV). Recognized by the World Meteorological Organization's HydroHub Innovation Call, RIVeR is designed to be user-friendly and accessible, enabling widespread adoption across Latin America and the Caribbean.
