We're thrilled to announce the release of OvenMediaEngine 0.15.16!
This update includes a number of improvements, including SRT enhancements for listening on multiple ports, improved AVC/HEVC bitstream conversion performance in the writer module, integrated file recording, MPEG-TS/RTMP push modules, and more. Please see the release notes for more information.
[Compatibility]
- Compatible with dependencies (prerequisites.sh) installed in 0.14.9 or later.
- Compatible with Server.xml used in 0.12.6 or later.
- Compatible with version 0.15.12 or higher of Origin or Edge.
[Improved]
- Improved SRT to be able to listen on multiple ports.
- Improved AVC/HEVC bitstream convert performance of the writer module.
- Integrated file recording and MPEG-TS/RTMP Push modules.
- Improved validation check for OutputProfiles settings.
- Added thread name of push session controller.
[Fixed]
- Fixed the issue in ome_docker_launcher.sh where SRT ports were handled as TCP.
- Fixed crash issue when SRT push publishing.
- Fixed a problem that the stopPush API did not work in a specific state.
