A call to transform Lives; slavery to Freedom
Published on May 7, 2026 by Suneelshakir Shakir

In the smoky fields of the brick kilns of Pakistan, many widowed mothers wake before sunrise with heavy hearts and wounded souls. They carry bricks on their fragile shoulders while carrying even deeper pain inside — pain of abuse, fear, hunger, and humiliation. Many of these women have suffered brutal sexual assaults, physical torture, and slavery-like conditions while trying to feed their children. Every night they sleep without safety, without dignity, and without hope for tomorrow.
But we believe their story can change.
Rise Church-Pakistan is launching a 6-Month Sewing Centre Project for these suffering widow sisters. This project is not just about teaching sewing — it is about restoring dignity, healing broken hearts, and giving mothers the power to stand on their own feet.
Through this program, these women will learn professional sewing skills that can help them earn a respectful income from home or within their communities. Instead of carrying bricks under oppression, they will stitch clothes with honor and hope. Their children will have better food, education, safety, and a brighter future.
After six months, these widows will be able to:
• Earn income independently and escape slavery-like labor
• Protect themselves and their daughters from abuse and exploitation
• Provide food, clothing, and education for their children
• Gain confidence, dignity, and emotional healing
• Build a safe and hopeful future for their families
To begin this life-changing project, we urgently need support for:
• 10 Sewing Machines
• Raw Material & Fabric
• Carpets for the classroom
• Iron for pressing clothes
• Teacher’s Salary — $69 per month
• Monthly running expenses — $179
The sewing machines will cost approximately $1,200, and the total amount needed to launch this project is $1,500.
Your helping hand can rescue a widow from fear, protect a daughter from abuse, and give an entire family a new beginning.
Please join hands with us and become a voice for these forgotten mothers. Together, we can replace tears with hope, slavery with freedom, and pain with purpose.
