Passkit Visual Designer published!
Published on April 26, 2021 by Alexander Patrick Cerutti

One month ago, I've released the first beta version of Passkit Visual Designer, another side project about Passkit passes generation.

It allows to design with a nice UI and UX the pass, choose its colors, choose the set of images, add translations, and so on.

While the project development went on for about a year and "for free", the domain was bought through the money raised through financial contributors to this project! Thank you very much! ❤

Passkit Visual Designer is visible at https://pkvd.app!
It is also an open source project, which code is available at https://github.com/alexandercerutti/passkit-visual-designer

Hope you'll enjoy it! I'm open to every feedback if you'll want to give me some.
Thank you very much again!

Awesome work! do you guys have a tutorial for this project? I am working on a similar project and found this project online, if you guys have a tutorial that would be very helpful. Once again, amazing work!

Hi Ali, thank you! What kind of tutorial do you need?
Anyway, I barely saw this comment just for the email. Otherwise I wouldn't ever see this :D

I suggest you to write into the issues or discussions in Github

Tutorial for how you guys created the UI and its communication with the Apple wallets, like how you create the UI, store the required object in redux and then call the passkit. I didn't want to post it in the issues section because it is not an issue just a personal query. Thanks for the response :)

It is all open source on github, so you can check it by yourself at https://github.com/alexandercerutti/passkit-visual-designer. Consider that this was my first experiment with Redux and I've not maintained the project lately, so you might incur in some old patterns or such. :)

Anyway, I created the UI by studing a lot of details about passes and by thinking to a possibly good UX.
