Payment Transaction means an act, initiated by the Payer or on his behalf or by the Payee, of placing, transferring or withdrawing funds, irrespective of any underlying obligations between the Payer and the Payee.

A payment on account occurs when a payment is received from a customer, and there is no notation with the methods, including debit/credit card.

About

Actually “by payment” and “at sight” have the same meaning in letters of credit. Swift rule book states that “When code contains BY PAYMENTGO, this should be understood to mean payment at sight.” Issuing banks have 5 banking days to check your documents after day have received your presentation.
