Annual update time!
This past we gave away $11,700 in scholarships as planned (A 4 year $2000/year scholarship, and then one-time $2000, $1000, and $7000 scholarships). That's an increase of 46% over the previous year!
For 2024, we're planning to grow again, and planning to give away $24,000 in total scholarships, which is a 105% increase over 2024! We're going to give away two scholarships this year: The 4k scholarship, which will be for $4000/year for up to 4 years of college, and then 2k scholarship, for $2000/year for up to four years of college.
We've also removed the requirement that kids be studying a STEM subject this year. We may still slightly bias towards students intending to study STEM subjects, but there are too many ambitious Ripon kids studying non-STEM subjects to limit it just to that.
