Welcome to the core team Andy and Gordon
Published on November 6, 2019 by Sean T Allen

It's been a busy week in core team additions. As we previously announced, Theo Butler has joined the core team.

Today, both Andrew Turley and Gordon Tisher accepted invitations to join the core team.

We are thrilled to have them both aboard in their new roles.

If you aren't familiar with their contributions, here are a few highlights.

Andy has been part of the Pony community for quite some time. He is probably most known for having created the materials for the Pony workshop as well as the Pony cheatsheet that accompanies it. He also has been running our weekly sync meeting for quite a while now and contributed the initial Itertools package to the standard library.

Gordon started in the Pony community by providing Windows support. He has since moved on to also keeping us up to date with LLVM releases and recently started working on a unified build system across all the platforms we support.

Welcome aboard to both. We can't wait to see what they get up to next.
