About

how to make power point templates

Let's create a banking powerpoint template step by step

Open a blank presentation and go to the Slide Master

Select View and then Slide Master

Watch what comes out on the left of your presentation. You'll see all the types of slides you have enabled for later use in your presentations.

There are a few types but you can always add or remove as many as you like. It's your template, so ideally it should be just the way you need it.

To give you an idea of what these types are for, they are the ones that when you are creating a presentation, appear when you say "New slide", those types that are displayed below are the ones predefined in the template.

Is that clear?

If not, don't worry, we'll come back to it as soon as we start creating.

The first thing we're going to do is simplify our template a bit, so we'll focus on a couple of them.

And what do we do with the others? We select them and eliminate them.

Let's choose a background color for the presentation

If we go to background styles offers a few default formats, but if we do not want to choose any of the predefined, we can go to the option "Background format" and we open a range of possibilities.

In this case I'm going to choose that all my slides have a background color of a yellow-orange tone which is the one I use, and later I'm going to tell him to apply it to the whole presentation.

Here for tastes the colors.

You can put gradients, background images, put textures, transparencies to the colors, come on, practically anything you want.

For this step by step I have done it in a simple way not to lose the thread of the creation of the template, but the possibilities are endless.

Let's choose the rest of colors: Go customize colors.
