Former Quarry Residents Cash Assistance Program

This will be the final distribution of donations to this Open Collective fund with the goal of equipping and supporting the unhoused people who were living at the Quarry encampment.
The funds will be dispersed evenly amongst the 7 people who were living there at least part-time when it was attacked by the Minneapolis Police and City workers and had been Quarry residents for months prior. (An 8th resident opted to have his portion put toward extending his stay at a hotel since he was days away from getting long-term housing).
The cash assistance payments will be transferred directly to former residents' bank or CashApp accounts to assist in replacing any belongings that were stolen/destroyed in the raid, or to cover any future expenses.
We will officially stop all incoming donations today, Monday, April 24th, and will begin processing payouts with the goal of closing this fund permanently by May 15th.
