We have disbursed 5/7ths of the remaining funds! Unfortunately, we have been unable to get in touch with two residents, and thus have not been able to get them their money. In an effort to put these funds to use and bring this collective to a close, we have decided to give the remaining funds to Melanie Groves, one of our admins. Melanie was integral in establishing our encampment, was a resident herself, and, post-eviction, has supported multiple residents as they found themselves displaced yet again. The funds will help her with covering the costs incurred from buying food, clothing, and other supplies for these residents. After the funds have been disbursed, we will be closing this collective.
