Rail to the COP Update: 19th September 2021
Published on September 19, 2021 by Jakob Hartmann
Dear RTTC Participants and Supporters!
As of today, we have received over 600 applications from people to join us on the Climate Train to Glasgow on the 31st of October. These applicants represent a vast range of backgrounds and we are thrilled to welcome them on board to engage in meaningful discussions on addressing the climate crisis on their way to COP26. While applications are still being processed, we are happy to say that we have been able to offer almost 100 young people seats on the Climate Train.
Our collective has grown due to the generosity of you, our supporters, and as a result, we are able to cover the travel expenses of almost 75 youth tickets to the COP.
While this is a fantastic milestone we are far from our goal of covering the travel expenses of all the youth and others without financial means joining the Climate Train for their journey to and from the COP26. So please share this collective with others to help us achieve this goal!
We thank you!
