International speakers and perspectives
Published on June 13, 2022 by Jay Tompt

We have quite an international line up of practitioners confirmed for this Thursday's webinar. What we all have in common is that the patterns of the problems we're addressing seem to be very similar - economic systems that produce vast amounts of greenhouse gas emission through fossil fuel energy and industrial land use, rising inequality, isolation and consumerism damaging our communities, corporate power perverting our democratic institutions.

What's also similar are the patterns of the solutions - in this case, participatory practices at the heart of new politics and post-growth economics movements like Transition,  permaculture, relocalisation and Degrowth, solidarity economy, etc. So, we're looking forward to learning about what making local economic change looks like in these different cultural contexts.

See you Thursday! Remember to register for your zoom link. :-)
