Post-Event Budget Recap

To our Advocates, Contributors, Participants, Sponsors, and Supporters:

Thank you for joining us in the inaugural Reimagining Unconference: People, Power, & Possibility of Work, held on August 18th, 2022.

For us, redefining and reimagining *what work is* and *what work can be* means compensating those who contributed labor and shared their lived experiences in co-creating this space with us.

Our desire was to allocate an honorarium of $100-$150 for each plenary and ignite chat speaker; and $20-$50 for each community co-creator, including facilitators, marketers, moderators, and support staff.

The Results
🎉 We raised a total of $3,203.57, with nearly a 50/50 split between ticket sales and community sponsorships. These funds will dispersed using this allocation:

* Featured speakers and live event sensemaking/support honorarium: 55% of total = $126 per person
* Community co-creators honorarium: 25% of total = $27 per person
* Give back/ land back campaign*: 8% of total = $256
* Software/operating fees for 8 months: 12% of total = $384

Giving Back
The Reimagining Unconference invites you to join our give back campaign by donating funds to support land back movements and advancing equity for indigenous groups.
