Alright now! Java Sip Soul Food Restaurant is partnering with Roots, Eggs, and Greens to create the Soul Food Farmers Market in Chicago Heights! The market will be in and outside the complex owned by Lenzie Harris, owner of the Restaurant! The first Market will be Saturday, July 22nd, and continue on the following dates: August 19th, Sept 23rd, Oct 14, Oct 28, Nov 18th. We will involve local farmers, vendors, food demonstrations, musicians, DJs. invited guests, Seniors, Veterans. And other community members. We are organizing Link eligibility, and we  look forward to this exciting opportunity to support healthy eating in the South Suburbs!
