Richmond, VA Food Not Bombs

The Richmond, VA Food Not Bombs chapter was established in 1993 and has proudly served the greater local community for over 30 years. 

Our volunteer base and the community we serve is made up of a variety of folks including folks who identify as queer, trans, neurodiverse, and people of color. Many of our volunteers also depend on our org as a source of food and many of the folks who receive food also end up volunteering.

Volunteer and donation opportunities are open year-round on a revolving door basis. We offer credit for court-mandated community service hours, student learning hours, etc. We are a non-hierarchical community and all our volunteers are invited to participate in meetings.  Just show up at the below times to join us!

4:00PM - Grocery and Meal Distribution @ Monroe Park

5:00PM - Kitchen Cleanup @ Matchbox Mutual Aid (2919 North Ave)
