SC - Staff Solidarity Fund
The SC Staff Solidarity Fund (SSF) is a staff volunteer-run initiative to provide small financial grants to our colleagues facing emergencies, such as medical crises, natural disasters, conflict, displacement, layoffs or other hardships.

The Save the Children Staff Solidarity Fund (SSF) is established to provide small grants to employees facing emergencies, such as medical crises, disasters, conflict, forced displacement, or other personal hardships. It was created in March 2025.
The fund operates via two different modalities; 1) Non-targeted fund raising for support and 2) Targeted fund raising for certain countries or specific disasters (which you may directly access via projects at the bottom of this page)
The fund is managed by a Oversight Committee which oversees the entire process of fund collection, management, delivery and reporting, and ensuring the fund is managed transparently.
While the drastic global aid funding cuts in 2025 led to this initiative, we think of this as something that can exist beyond this current context, and be there for all of the Save the Children personnel in times of crisis, and for all offices including country, members and national offices.
