Sé Reed is a strategist and small business and nonprofit advocate, who has been operating outside the lines for more than two decades. 
 
Currently: Sé serves as CEO and principal digital strategist and developer for Kerredyn Collaborative, an agency she co-founded in 2018. Kerredyn works with social enterprises, small businesses, and non-profits with big social impact.
 
History: Sé opened her first business, Open, an independent bookstore, in 2003.  She discovered WordPress in 2007 and shortly thereafter founded Sé Reed Media, a web development shop focusing on small businesses and nonprofits. She served as a small business advisor for the Los Angeles SBDC from 2011-1019, where she helped hundreds of small businesses and develop and implement effective marketing strategies, both online and off.

Since 2012, Sé has co-hosted a weekly WordPress podcast, the WPwatercooler, which has been broadcasting live weekly for ten years! She began speaking and participating in WordCamps at the same time, including WordCamp LA, WordCamp LAX, WordCamp OC, and WordCamp LongBeach, for which she was a founding organizer.  

Outside of WordPress, Sé co-founded and organized five years of the Long Beach Zine Fest (2012-2019) and in late 2016, was the digital strategist for a grassroots political action that resulted in a historic vote in Texas, and led to a Supreme Court case around election laws.

Throughout her career, Sé has won multiple awards and spoken to and taught audiences regionally and nationally about web strategy, WordPress, and the intersection of small organizations and Big Tech.
