Servo has received donations via Open Collective and GitHub Sponsors from 500 different people and organizations in 2024. We’re very grateful to all of you for supporting the Servo project.

In 2024, we raised 33,632.64 USD, from which we’ve spent 471.59 USD. This left us with 33,161.05 USD available at the end of 2024. Our expenses were as follows:

So far we’ve been using this money to cover hosting costs for self-hosted runners. We've been running one server with Hetzner for around 115 USD/month to speed up our CI times. After some experimentation, we now have faster runners for Linux, macOS, and Windows builds, cutting build times from over an hour to under 30 minutes!

This month, we’ve set up two additional servers to improve CI times even further, which will increase our monthly expenses to ~350 USD/month.
