💡 Free Software and Anytype Labs' Manifesto: A Shared Vision

In an article on Fosstodon, I discuss the importance of free software. Meanwhile, Anytype Labs' manifesto, available here, expresses a similar vision. It calls for digital world independence from software companies and states, emphasizing fundamental freedoms like privacy of thought and community governance. The manifesto underlines the role of open-source in ensuring these rights, envisioning a non-profit, non-violent, and sovereign digital network for sustainable, positive cooperation.

🔨 Latest Developments at Silex

I'm developing a feature that will revolutionize how you create sites with Silex. A new plugin for GrapesJS will soon allow Silex to interact directly with GraphQL APIs. This means you can connect your Silex site to various online data sources, like headless CMS, databases, or tools like Notion or Airtable.

Upcoming steps include:
  • Creating a plugin for Silex to generate site templates compatible with 11ty.dev.
  • Introducing "collection pages" in Silex for dynamic, attractive data presentation.
  • Implementing a live preview feature in Silex to see dynamic data in real-time on your site.

This update is an exciting step towards a more connected, dynamic web design with Silex.
