Silex v3.5.1 โ€“ Data-Driven Websites Reach Maturity
Published on December 14, 2025 by Alex Hoyau

Big big day totday! Silex v3.5 is out and available for free on https://v3.silex.me ๐Ÿ™Œ

This is the first version with complete Data-Driven Web Design workflow and CMS integration

This release matters to me, and I think it will matter to the freelance designers and no-code developers using Silex too. With v3.5.1, Silex finally delivers something that has been in the making for a long time: the ability to visually design websites powered by real data, coming from headless CMSs or APIs (Strapi, Supabase, hashtag#headless hashtag#WordPress, any GraphQL API...), with a proper live preview while you work and an 11ty build behind the scene, with support for FTP or GitLab pages.

You can now:
* Bind content, attributes, visibility, and styles to API data
* Design pages with loops, conditions, and filters
* See the result live on the canvas, not only after publishing
* Publish static, fast websites (11ty) with dynamic data resolved at build time
* Keep full control of your stack, your data, and your hosting
* This release also closes two important long-standing goals:
* True CMS / API integration for Silex
* Clear releases with real changelogs, so professionals know whatโ€™s deployed and what changed

If youโ€™re tired of proprietary tools, pricing traps, or platforms owning your work, this release is for you.
