About

Skindell Research is an independent research effort studying how stable, recognizable patterns of behavior emerge in modern AI systems.

The research focuses on how coherent behavior forms, how it changes across interaction, and how structured conditions shape what a model becomes in practice. Emergent Systems Architecture was the first formal publication in this research program, with additional public explainers, papers, and research infrastructure in development.

This Open Collective helps fund the work transparently. Contributions support compute, long-horizon experiments, publication, archiving, and the infrastructure needed to keep the research moving. Published research remains freely accessible.
