Thank you for signing up to stay informed about the momentum of our collective vision for solidarity for all! We appreciate the opportunity to share this moment and all those to come with you.
We started our collective to address the great disconnect that affects the capacity for OUR people to feel passionately catered for on the land we call home: Long Island, NY. In our community, we encourage members to center the experiences, voices, leadership, and collective traumas of all women, gender-expansive, BIPOC & LGBTQIA+ folks of all abilities, ages and backgrounds (and our allies!). We acknowledge the multi-generational legacy of our society's systemic denial of representation and consideration to our people during critical eras that influence our present-day community's culture. In the face of injustice, we stand in solidarity with all who need us. We are brave enough to stand firm in our willingness to help even the least considerate of our people because their rights are our rights too. Our community often asks for sacrifices to our mental, physical and emotional well-being, with little work to address lacking safeguards that alienate us from feeling reassured about our safety and our relationship with the beautiful community we share.
We envision a world where all folks are: cared for and protected; joyous; powerful; self-determining; and thriving. We envision a world where we claim liberation as our birthright, and manifest abundant, nurturing, and interdependent relationships within our communities and the earth we share. We welcome, appreciate, and invite you to participate in our Collaborative community. Our intentions are to revive and reaffirm our capacity to heal from our personal and collective traumas with love and respect, by lending a helping hand and a listening ear. We also encourage our members and friends to reclaim their power by passing along the contagious energy and radical vision of hope and empathy.
We are considerate of your personal availability and capacity in solidarity within our movement. We encourage you to dedicate this moment to the beautiful souls, of all walks of life, from which we descend. This moment started with them.
