Squawk Ident

Squawk Ident is a mental health peer-support service dedicated to everyone in the aviation industry—whether you're in the tower, the cockpit, the cabin, the hangar, or behind the scenes keeping aviation running. We understand that while aviation can be exhilarating, it can also be isolating, high-pressure, and emotionally demanding. That’s why we’re building a safe, anonymous, and understanding space for anyone in the sector who needs to talk.

Our mission is simple: no one in aviation should struggle alone.

We’re launching in stages to make sure we grow responsibly and sustainably. Our first phase introduces confidential email-based support, giving individuals the opportunity to reach out to trained peers in their own time and in their own words. With further support and funding, we plan to expand to text-based live support, allowing for more immediate conversations while maintaining privacy. Ultimately, our vision is to introduce phone support, staffed by trained mental health first aiders with aviation backgrounds—offering a reassuring voice when it’s needed most.

We are committed to making Squawk Ident available to anyone in aviation, regardless of role, location, or employment status. Whether you're dealing with stress, loneliness, burnout, or anything else, we're here to listen—without judgment and without pressure.
