Many hands make light work 🙌
Published on May 10, 2020 by Sue Paterson

We’ve had another busy week here in Stapleford sending out even more food parcels from our pop-up foodbank at the Old Cross, with thanks to Maggie (John McGrath) for letting us take over his premises. We’ve also been delivering meals to the vulnerable that have been donated to us by The White Lion, Bramcote & Pulp Friction CIC.

We have been able to help other organisations like The foodbank at The Haven by doing a big shop to help stock up and by taking donations of cakes, potatoes, meat and cooked meals to The Helpful BureauSandiacre Mutual Aid and The White Lion, Bramcote

I think it’s an understatement to say we’ve been overwhelmed with the support of Stapleford Fire Station and Stapleford Town Football Club, who have been out delivering meals and food parcels for us. Also, Sharon Hands and her Angels, who have been fundraising to help us keep going and reach even more people.

It’s great to see the community come together when we need it most. 👏👏👏👏

Thanks to everyone for their on going support 👍
