About

Mission: Digital Infrastructure as an Act of Care

Seed To Go (STG) is a tech-focused collective dedicated to building robust, high-performance API services that serve as “seeds” for community growth. Operating from the Global South (Douala, Cameroon), we believe that access to high-quality backend technology should not be a barrier for independent creators, educators, or spiritual leaders.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between complex software engineering and the needs of marginalized groups by providing “Infrastructures of Care”—digital tools designed to be accessible, performant, and free for social impact.

Sub-Projects & Social Impact

The STG ecosystem is built on the principle of Resource Redistribution. STG is the parent infrastructure — the shared serverless backbone — that powers a growing family of specialized, community-driven sub-projects, each maintained as Free for the Community:
  • Seed To Bible (stg-bible): A free, structured Bible API providing access to theological data, translations, and verses to support spiritual well-being and community connection.
  • Seed To Syntax (stg-syntax): A living knowledge graph API mapping the history, lineage, and taxonomy of programming languages — open data for the global developer community.
  • Learning Paths (in development): An automated curriculum builder designed to facilitate non-formal education and skill-sharing for those excluded from traditional academic systems.

Audacious Innovation

STG is an “audacious experiment” in itself. Developed entirely on mobile infrastructure (Android/Termux), it proves that professional-grade, production-ready code can emerge from any environment when driven by community-centric values. We use modern standards like zod and codehooks to ensure our infrastructure is secure, scalable, and future-proof.

Why we are on Open Collective

We have joined Open Collective to ensure the transparency and sustainability of our project. By supporting STG, you are helping us:
  1. Keep our Educational and Spiritual APIs free and accessible for everyone.
  2. Provide a sustainable livelihood for a developer at the intersection of marginalized identities (Black African/Albinism).
  3. Expand our infrastructure to host more community-led creative projects.
