GoGetta now live, for up to date NYC social service info!
Published on May 18, 2020 by Adam Bard

Streetlives' COVID-19 response platform, GoGetta, is now live.

GoGetta is a community-built mobile website that provides real-time, peer and provider validated social service information during the pandemic.

Streetlives has partnered with the Hunter College NYC Food Policy Center to launch GoGetta with data from the Center's neighborhood food guides.

We are grateful to be supported by an award from the Neighborhood Coalition for Shelter, a donation from Minnow Software, promotional credits from the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Nonprofits Credit Program, and tech volunteers from US Digital Response.

To continually improve data gathering, Streetlives is collaborating with the City's Senior Advisor on Youth Homelessness and various agencies and service providers serving communities considered vulnerable in New York City.

GoGetta is an Open Source project. Anyone interested in spinning up a local deployment can visit Streetlives on Github.

Lastly, please share widely, through any and all networks, to help people find social services and community programs across NYC during the pandemic.

best,

Adam
