First two weeks in Chicago
Published on August 5, 2022 by Kostya Katz
Hello everybody and thank you once again for your amazing donations and for your kind messages for the Studinskyi family.
They have now been in Chicago for 2+ weeks and we've been busy trying to get them acquainted with the surroundings, introduce them to new people, customs, and foods. They've also been working hard on completing all of their required immigration, medical, school, and other documents, which should all be now "in progress".
In the next 2-3 weeks, both boys should be joining their respective local schools and Natasha is starting to look for places to register for English lessons as well as potential employment opportunities (once, their Employment Authorization is approved).
We've also been able to visit a few available rental apartments and are now in the process of figuring what might work for the family.
Lastly, a local journalist had requested to interview Natasha and the boys for EvanstonNow digital newspaper. I believe the article came out really well, although I feel it should have been only about them.
Here is the article, if interested:

None of this would have been possible without you generous contributions so thank you one more time!!
