SUPPER SUPPER CLUB WINTER 2021 UPDATE
Published on December 7, 2021 by Helen Mary Ashley
Hello supporter,
Just a quick update to say that we have returned to offering a weekly community meal service at The Pickle Factory, Easton, BS5.
Each week, we offer a three course meal on a Wednesday evening using surplus supermarket and farm food that would otherwise end up in landfill to local families, singles and friends.
We also run Baggabites on a Thursday providing food for local children.
On Mondays we offer food to the STEM learning group for children
WINTER 2021 FUNDRAISER
As the winter approaches, there continues to be an increased demand for meals amongst our BS5 community, many of whom continue to struggle through COVID.
Every week we need to raise at least £200 to cover the cost of venue hire, cleaning, training, food equipment and food we need to buy which isn't donated. The more money we raise, the more people we can feed.
We are also offering a full Christmas meal on Christmas day with all the trimmings, so would love to be able to also offer small presents such as chocolates, toiletries etc.
