Support Inclusion in Tech Receives Generous Donation from Jeffrey Paul to Support 2025 Travel and Hotel Sponsorship

Maplewood, New Jersey - April 18, 2025 - Support Inclusion in Tech (SiNC), an initiative launched in 2022 dedicated to promoting inclusivity within the WordPress community, is excited to announce a generous donation of $925.00 from Jeffrey Paul.

The donation, received on March 1, 2025, will be used to support SiNC’s 2025 Travel and Hotel Sponsorship program, which assists speakers.

"Our vision for the future of open source is one where diversity is not an aspiration, but a reality. Through initiatives like Support Inclusion in Tech, we actively work to build that future, one speaker, one contributor, one event at a time," says Winstina Hughes, founder of Support Inclusion in Tech.

SiNC is fundraising exclusively with Open Collective, a crowdfunding platform designed for grassroots movements and open-source projects. Open Collective allows initiatives like SiNC to raise funds flexibly and transparently through recurring subscriptions or one-time donations.

SiNC's financial support helps mitigate costs associated with attending and speaking at WordCamps. By covering travel and accommodation, SiNC empowers a wider range of voices to share their expertise within the WordPress community.
