About

Support Inclusion in Tech (SiNC) is an initiative that champions inclusivity and amplifies diverse talent by empowering speakers worldwide in WordPress programming. In January 2024, a mentorship program launched designed to help speakers grow and develop in their careers.

2023 in Review: Support Inclusion in Tech funded speakers from 5 continents. 57% of SiNC applicants identified as women, 43% identified as men. 60% of speakers got funding. Speakers receive 100% of funding and are supported in the order they apply. As many speaker applicants are supported as funding allows.

Support Inclusion in Tech (SiNC) was founded in 2022 by Winstina Hughes, a speaker, organizer, and core contributor, with her partners in the WordPress ecosystem. Select links for SiNC's story.
