Support Inclusion in Tech (SiNC) Announces 2026 Contributor Cohort
Maplewood, New Jersey – March 28, 2026 Support Inclusion in Tech (SiNC), an initiative dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusivity within the WordPress community, is pleased to announce the closing of its application window for its 2026 contributor cohort. The application period officially ended on February 28, 2026, marking another significant milestone in SiNC's mission to support those who build and sustain the WordPress ecosystem.
SiNC's contributor program, launched in June 2024, offers grants to individuals who have made notable contributions through local meetups, WordCamps, or code. This initiative provides financial assistance and recognition to underrepresented individuals who are actively involved in strengthening the community.

The 2026 Cohort Recipients
SiNC received 14 applications for this cohort. Selected individuals are:
- Krupa Nanda: Asia (India)
- Bud Kraus: North America (USA)
- Moses Ssebuwufu: Africa (Uganda)
- Alex Cuadra: South America (Nicaragua)
Each of these deserving individuals will receive a $250 grant to support their continued contributions to the WordPress community.
