 I have been given a top surgery date of 16th November! I'm reapplying here because I applied in the wrong place, I'm really sorry about that. I'm excited for top surgery but there are a lot of expenses, from travel to accomodation as I don't live nearby, as well as all the aftercare stuff such as mastectomy pillows and scar/wound care. Anything at all would be extremely helpful as I don't earn much at my apprenticeship (below minimum wage) and there's no way I can manage any more hours to try and earn extra, it's exhausting as it is. I'm going to need a lot of time off work too because it's a physical job and so anything would be helpful because statutory sick pay does not provide much.
I understand if it isn't possible as I know you don't provide many grants, but it would be extremely helpful.
