Ngā mihi (thank you) Te Tihi o Ruahine Whānau Ora Alliance for being our first client!!! 🥳🥳🥳

Te Tihi contracted Tai Collective to create digital content for their currently under development Te Mauri Moemoeā app.

The scope of our brief was to:

1. Create 6 x themed storyline narratives based around the pūrakau (legends) of Tāne (Deliverables: scripts, storyboards, video of narrated scripts over image visuals)
2. Produce music backing tracks and audio narration for 8 x narratives
3. Develop 5 x HTML5 mini-games

Our rangatahi (young people) had an awesome challenging experience creating all this content. Experiencing first hand how much work goes into projects like this.

For their contributions to the project, rangatahi were paid Bitcoin based on their level of engagement and input.

Key:

Mentors - oversee the project and mentor rangatahi in the technical skills and processes to successfully contribute to the project. Enabling the rangatahi to gain valuable experience and create amazing outcomes.

Rangatahi - are the young people that participated in the project. Tai Collectives mission is to develop young Māori and Pasifika students to become creative, innovative and entrepreneurial professionals. Rangitahi will be paid in Bitcoin for the contribution. Allocation is based on merit and the level of their input.

iLab - this is the facility/studio we work out of. It is an old building we are currently renovating to be fit for purpose. We are about half way through our renovations, currently we have a computer lab, music recording studio and green screen studio. We are actively trying to fund the completion of our iLab renovations.
