The Hayward Night Market

The Hayward Night Market is a family-friendly neighborhood event organized by Hayward locals to build community through food, music, and small Bay Area businesses/artists.

Our first event in the Fall of 2023 was one of twelve community-led projects funded by the Hayward People's Budget.  The event brought together over 1,100 people, showcased more than 50 local vendors, entertained with live performances by The Prototype and Danza Azteca, and offered a fun miniature pumpkin patch giveaway for children. 

Our Goals for the Hayward Night Market

• Deepen public safety by connecting neighbors by way of music, food, and fun

• Highlight local small businesses, allowing the community to invest in its own success

• Provide an event space in an area that is typically void of any organized events

• Uplift other local organizations 

• Support St. Rose Hospital, a vital community resource

• Create a reoccurring event that becomes a staple in the community
