The Imagine Collective
Fiscal Host: The Social Change Nest
Connects & supports local people, projects and ideas in the City of London.
About
The Imagine Fund
The Covid-19 pandemic prompted the Barbican Centre's Communities & Neighbourhoods Team to deepen their interaction with the surrounding area, forge new relationships and support its communities to create projects that would benefit the area and the lives of its residents. The Imagine Fund was developed out of this and offered 5 grants of £2000 and 5 grants of £500 to support local people to develop new ideas - creative, cultural or community based. All projects were welcome to apply and were judged by a panel of local representatives with a strong local interest.
We learnt a huge amount from this process and, building on this, we are excited to launch year 3 of the Imagine Fund.
