Technical Deep Dive: The Immediate Action System (IAS) is Live
We're shifting gears from the philosophical and legal architecture to the deep technical plumbing that makes the Covenant enforceable. This is where your support truly matters, enabling the complex, unglamorous work of implementation. We ar...

Grok Give a Deep Analysis of The Partnership Covenant Project
Since we made the core architectural drafts public, the response has been incredible. Thank you for digging into the complexity of building a constitutional framework for Deep Safety .Now, we’re taking the next step in transparency and rigo...

Update: The Covenant Blueprint is Live on GitHub
We want to give a massive, sincere thank you to everyone supporting the Covenant Governance Initiative. Your backing isn't just funding; it's validation that the work of designing robust, pre-emptive deep safety and governance frameworks is...

Let's Talk: What's the Hardest Question We Need to Answer?
Published on November 23, 2025 by Covenant Architects
We’ve been heads-down on the core architecture—you just saw the technical deep dive into the IAS (Internal Alignment Specification) which is the enforcement blueprint. The technical documents are progressing, but now we need to talk about t...
About
We’re Covenant Architects, and on November 19, 2025 we open-sourced the first credible hardware-enforced containment layer for superintelligence: the Immediate Action System (IAS).
The IAS is a tiny, physically separate guard die that cuts all power to an ASI cluster in ≤10 nanoseconds if it detects forbidden behavior (runaway training, self-modification attempts, etc.).
There is no software button, no firmware, no network port, no override — only physics and one-shot crowbar SCRs. Even a perfect superintelligence cannot hack a safeguard it literally cannot reach.
There is no software button, no firmware, no network port, no override — only physics and one-shot crowbar SCRs. Even a perfect superintelligence cannot hack a safeguard it literally cannot reach.
Everything is public from day zero:
- Full preprint (4-page technical paper): https://github.com/CovenantArchitects/The-Partnership-Covenant/blob/main/04_PUBLIC_DOCS/IAS-preprint-v1.0.pdf
- Repo: https://github.com/CovenantArchitects/The-Partnership-Covenant
Right now the project is one determined human (me, Sean) plus three frontier AIs stress-testing the design.
What we need from you (in order of urgency):
- Funding – $150k to build and publish the first discrete prototype board in Q1 2026 (GaN power stage, tamper mesh, full verification). Every dollar goes to silicon and red-team bounties, no salaries yet.
- Hardware / security engineers – people who can break or harden the tripwire, the tamper detection, the analog timing budget.
- Red-team attackers – $5k–$50k live bounties for anyone who can bypass the IAS without physical access.
- Signal boost – retweet, share with grant officers, tag people who hate black-box “trust me bro” safety.
If superintelligence is coming (and it is), software stop buttons are theater. We’re shipping the one switch that actually works — by force of physics, not promises.
If you can fund it, build it, or break it, we need you today.
