As we’re slowly emerging from the cold winter months⛄things are starting to heat up over here at the Social Change Nest🔥. We’ve got our exciting events coming up in 2 weeks, and some fantastic funding opportunities to share⚡
🚨Less than 2 Weeks until our SCN Events! - It’s now less than 2 weeks until our first events! To say we are excited to see you is an understatement to say the least🤯 These will be a fantastic opportunity to meet some amazing, like-minded people. Please find the details and tickets below:

For our in-person events, we will also be reimbursing travel expenses to the event! You can claim an expense on this page. Please reach out if you have any questions!
💃Phasing out Accountable - as mentioned last week, we are finally phasing out the name “Accountable” to “The Social Change Nest”. This will be done on Wednesday 15th March. This is the only thing we’re changing so you don’t need to do anything!
💰Funding Opportunities
- 5k funding Opportunity from CTRLshift - CTRLshift is running a prototype grantmaking scheme for projects related to shifting local power. You can find out more details by clicking here and apply by clicking here. The deadline for applications is 24th March.
- The Henry Smith Charity Grants - there are currently a number of opportunities for small, grassroots community groups being offered by the Henry Smith Charity. You can find more information by clicking here.
📜Incoming Funds and Missing Contributions - A reminder that we have set up an incoming contribution form where you can let us know if you will be receiving a large incoming contribution so we can allocate it to your page!
As well as that, you can also share this form with your contributors. Sometimes contributions are made with the incorrect reference number which means we are unable to allocate them to your page. If any of your contributors can’t see their contribution, send them this form so we can allocate it to you!
