This is just to inform you that, as per our email last week, we have now changed our name from The Social Change Agency (“SCA”) to the Social Change Nest (“SCN”).

All our Collectives (groups) are now under the SCN legal structure, which is the charitable arm of the SCA.

The SCN is a Community Interest Company (CIC) and as such is better suited to supporting community groups, networks and social movements. One major benefit of being a CIC is we can now apply for funding to help sustain and grow our support for groups. Another important thing to know is that a CIC supports statutory asset lock, which ensures the assets are used for the benefit of the community. 

What does this mean for me?

Your use of the platform and services won't be affected or change in any way. In fact, the only difference you'll notice is the new name, the Social Change Nest. 

You'll see this change in our page, communications, transactions and FAQs We'll also be moving our bank account over to the CIC, but the details you use won't change so there's no pause in submitting donations or expenses.
