The Autonomy Lab is a community run non profit project helping people take more control over their digital lives through privacy, Linux, self hosting, open source software, Bitcoin, Matrix, Nostr, the Fediverse, independent publishing, and practical digital autonomy.

Funds raised through this Collective help support hosting, domains, documentation, research, testing, educational resources, community tools, accessibility improvements, contributor expenses, public learning materials, videos, podcasts, workshops, and self hosted infrastructure.

Our goal is to build a useful, welcoming, and socially positive community resource that helps people understand technology better, reduce dependence on closed platforms, protect their privacy, publish independently, and take part in healthier online communities.
