About
The Rhizome House is a radical social center and infoshop in so-called Cleveland Heights, OH opened in the fall of 2022.
Though we've done everything we can to make the indoor space ADA accessible, we would like to make our outdoor area in the back accessible as well.
This involves building a low incline ramp that people with mobility devices can use safely.
That's where you come in.
We know times are tough, but if you have any additional money-credit to donate to our cause that would be appreciated!
Food Not Bombs CLE East has agreed to match all donations -- making your donation go twice as far
We also want to acknowledge the organizing by people with disabilities, such as ADAPT and actions such as the the Capitol Crawl, that forced the capitalist state in the so-called US to pass the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Although not perfect, public transit buses now have wheelchair-accessible lifts and many other improvements.
The struggle continues.
