it's simple: we're trans and we want to have a coffee with you.  

only .7% of the population in New Zealand is trans (Census 2023), and so it's likely someone has never knowingly met a trans person! at a time when there is a lot of political debate, confusion and hostility around our lives and identities, we want to give you, your boss, your mom, your bus driver, a chance to connect with us, learn something, maybe even have a laugh or two. all over a cup of fresh, free coffee, provided by our generous sponsors and made on site. 

keep an eye out for upcoming trans coffee pop-up cafés- we're starting in Wellington then hope to take the show on the road, with your help.
