4. New episodes of The TRM podcast are out, featuring interviews with:
- Nicholas Jacobs: Prof. Nicholas Jacobs, Associate Professor of Government at Colby College. We explore the deep disconnect between democratic ideals and political reality in the U.S. and the mobilization of the expansion of state power even as it postures to curb it.
- Jeff Schapiro: Legendary political reporter based in Richmond, Virginia. The discussion explores the challenges of covering local politics and how national party pressures shape local dynamics.
- Scott Aikin: Prof. of Philosophy at Vanderbilt University. The conversation focuses on the rise of The Dark Enlightenment movement.
- Jennifer Chace: Assistant Director at The Center for Education Policy, Applied Research, and Evaluation at The University of Southern Maine. The conversation focuses on her PhD dissertation, “A Search for Moral Equality: Becoming a Listening School,” which was successfully defended in December of 2024.

PS: The best way to help us spread the word is to share this TRM Deep Dive episode. People seem to really appreciate being able to listen to an introduction about the movement vs. reading text.
