Dear Supporters, 

 

Thank you so much for helping us successfully get launched! We are thrilled to announce that our launch party campaign raised over $4,000! From the bottom of our heart thank you for believing in us and the NYC adult Down syndrome community. 

Our first community outing on April 24th was a huge hit! We enjoyed lunch at Chelsea Market and then hit the Driving Range at Chelsea Piers. 8 adults with Down syndrome participated and all reported that after attending they felt more confident and independent. Many thanks to the Greater NYC Spartans for providing volunteers. 

Our next events are a picnic in Central Park on May 15th (rain date May 21st) and a trip to the Pride Parade on June 26th. We are currently recruiting volunteers for both outings! 

 

Again, thank you for helping to make this all possible and for empowering adults with Down syndrome in NYC to enjoy vibrant social lives.
