<div>Ubuntu buzz is a new-ish instance of mastodon (hometown branch) created and maintained by a black femme. We reclaim and value the meaning of the word Ubuntu by applying its principles in our online community. <br /><br />Ubuntu is a Bantu word that  reflects the idea that we exist in context and as a reflection of  our community. The person we are today is shaped by our interactions with others. It means we rise and fall together. <br /><br />The spirit of Ubuntu can be best described by someone who grew up with Ubuntu in their lives.
