Donation for the NWAPI Version of UCR
You'll help us porting our most used plugin to the NWAPI framework
You may have heard about the recent division of the EXILED project wanted by Nao into two different projects, EXILED Reboot (by Nao) and EXILED Official, respectively.
If this is not good news for server owners who will have to choose one of the two versions to use based on plugins, it is not good news for us developers either.
As you know developers -thus also UCS developers- do not have unlimited time and this is a big problem in case you want to keep the plugin updated for two different versions that will become more and more so with time.
To get around this problem we have started porting the UncomplicatedCustomRoles plugin (the most widely used) to NWAPI.
This gives us many advantages, in fact PluginAPI is developed and maintained by Northwood and is preinstalled on the server.
PluginAPI also has many disadvantages such as the lack of a set of events that UCR needs to work, so we created internal to UCR our own event system with our own custom Transpilers.
This operation will allow us not only to avoid running after two frameworks that will become increasingly different but also to make our plugin available to multiple server owners!
You will understand, however, that doing all this is not easy and takes a lot of time.
We are here to ask you for a small contribution to help us cover -even in part- the development expenses and to repay the efforts we are making to enable this.
