About

We're organising in response to a new Dogs Trust strategy that puts over 300 jobs at risk, closes our Newbury Rehoming Centre, and makes significant changes to our services. We believe the current proposals risk negatively impacting staff and dog welfare, and reduce both the quality and effectiveness of the support and prevention services Dogs Trust offers to the public.

As we enter the consultation period, building union membership is critical to gain voluntary (or statutory) recognition, which will allow us to collectively bargain. With your support, we can remove some financial barriers to ensure all staff have the chance to stand together and be represented.

In the event that there are unused funds after the campaign period, they will be used to provide on-going support for staff union dues.

Please note: due to fear of retaliation by management, our public 'team' for this campaign have used pseudonyms. If you have any concerns about this campaign's host, kindly email [email protected] and one of our organising employees will reach out directly with additional information.
