Everything Must Change (1hr 12 mins) 2023

EVERYTHING MUST CHANGE is a major new feature film made by Reel News, Zahra Dalilah and Rowan Mataram (Framing Climate Justice Project), it's currently on tour all over the UK and this will be the Dorset Premiere!

Cost of living, climate change, food, housing, land: the multiple crises we face are deeply interlinked, which means the solutions are too.

“Everything Must Change” explains how all these crises – and the accompanying spiralling price rises – have come about, and shows how a just transition away from a free market extractive system based on exploitation to a renewable energy system based on peoples needs can solve all of them.

Drawing on the experience of numerous inspiring social movements, the film shows how climate change driven by profiteering from our global systems has destroyed our planet and increased inequality. We need to transform global infrastructure and services to be people oriented, by building a global mass workers and peasants movement to enact a just transition.

For the people, by the people, and never for profit. Because government and big business aren’t going to do it for us.

FEATURING Indian Farmers Movement, Construction Rank & File, Grenfell, Landworkers Alliance, Offshore Oil Workers, Living Rent, La Via Campesina, BLF Green Bans, Right to Food, The Lucas Plan, Kenyan Peasants League, Friends of St Fitticks, PELUM Zimbabwe, Striking UK & French workers, and more

We'll also have:

Delicious organic vegetarian curries from Fergus Bradbeer aka Vegie Vortex (who also does the curries at Beach and Barnicott), plus hot and cold drinks. Please pre-order your food if at all possible.

Please note:

Our room hire costs £42/ week so if you're able to able to contribute more than the default ticket amount then please do so.

We also need to ensure enough people come along to make it worthwhile for Fergus to keep coming along to cook up the delicious food - so invite a friend!

Many thanks in advance. Together We Have Everything.
