VacFind has been awarded a $1500 microgrant offered by Zvi from https://thezvi.wordpress.com in partnership with an anonymous donor.
VacFind plans to use this money to offer a few stipends to some volunteer python developers to help us build out a data processing tool to help projects such as GISCorps, as well as many of the projects listed on https://vacfind.org more easily merge, compare, and generally perform operations on their datasets. We plan to have this project completed within the next couple of months or so. If you are interested in helping work on this project, feel free to reach out via [email protected] or message us on our discord.
The announcement of grant recipients can be seen at https://thezvi.wordpress.com/2021/03/18/22454/ under the heading "Covid Microgrants Have Been Awarded" at the end of the blog post.
