About
VSpam.org is an open, security-focused initiative building a modern, high-quality threat intelligence platform for email and network protection.
The project aggregates and continuously updates data from multiple public and curated sources, including phishing domains, malware indicators, DNS blocklists (DNSBL), and IP reputation feeds, with a strong focus on IPv6, an area often underserved by existing solutions.
Our mission is to make reliable, actionable threat data accessible to everyone - from individual developers to security teams and infrastructure providers - without vendor lock-in or opaque scoring systems.
What we’re building
- A continuously updated database of malicious domains, URLs, and IPs
- IPv4 and IPv6 reputation scoring and categorization
- Aggregation and normalization of global threat intelligence feeds
- APIs and downloadable datasets for easy integration
- Open tooling for researchers and engineers
Why it matters
Email abuse, phishing, and bot-driven attacks continue to grow, while many existing solutions are closed, expensive, or lack transparency - especially for IPv6 environments. vspam.org aims to close that gap by providing an open, scalable, and developer-friendly alternative.
Open and community-driven
vspam.org is built as an open initiative. Contributions, feedback, and collaboration are encouraged. Funding through Open Collective helps support:
- Infrastructure and data processing costs
- Continuous feed integration and validation
- Development of APIs and tooling
- Long-term sustainability of the project
Who it’s for
- Developers building email or security systems
- Hosting providers and MSPs
- Security researchers
- Open-source projects needing threat intelligence
By supporting vspam.org, you’re helping build a transparent, modern, and accessible foundation for internet security.
